Cooper’s Corner, Florence, MA
This project, located in the Florence/Northampton MA area revitalized a prominent landscape, creating usable space and bringing beauty and life to a town center. Patios made from local stone invite the public to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds; low-maintenance perennials provide color and texture throughout the year while the sound of splashing water emanates from the stone fountain. Planted as an homage to the many elm trees that historically graced so many town centers, two disease resistant American elms grow a little more each year – eventually they will drape over Main Street.
